This Horseshoe Bay Resort wedding was sunshine, happy tears, and one giant celebration from beginning to end.
From the moment I arrived, there was this warmth that seemed to follow the entire day. The Texas sunshine showed up in the best way, the lake views were absolutely showing off, and every single person there made the celebration feel so welcoming. You know those weddings where you instantly understand why everyone loves the couple so much? This was one of those.
Every part of the day felt joyful. The kind of joy that’s impossible to fake.
Guests were laughing together before the ceremony even started, hugs lasted just a little longer, and every moment felt effortless. There wasn’t a single part of the day that felt rushed. Everyone was simply soaking it all in and celebrating The Coombes exactly the way they deserved.
And Horseshoe Bay Resort? It couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop. Between the waterfront views, gorgeous grounds, and golden Texas light, every corner felt like it belonged in a postcard. It had that destination wedding feeling while still feeling relaxed, comfortable, and completely Texas.
As always, this wedding was captured on both digital and film, and I already know these are the kinds of images that will only become more special with time. Film has a way of preserving warmth and nostalgia that pairs so perfectly with days like this.
Mostly though, I’ll remember the people.
