It’s always a great day when I get to shoot at DKR! If you’re planning UT grad photos, Gracie’s session at the stadium is such a fun example!
We started at Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium where Gracie wore her Texas Pom uniform, a simple but meaningful nod to her years performing and representing the school. Every time I get to shoot at DKR I’m filled with so much Longhorn energy!
Since the UT Tower will be under construction from February 2026 through 2027, it’s worth planning for alternate spots around campus. The Littlefield Fountain, South Mall, the Green Door, the Gearing Hall arches, the Stadium Seal, and the Moody Pedestrian Bridge are all great options that still feel distinctly UT.
We wrapped things up at the fountain with champagne and a full-on celebration, which is the perfect way to end a grad session.
If you’re a UT grad or planning your own shoot, this session is a good reminder that you can still get classic, spirited UT photos even without the Tower!
