If you’re planning senior photos in Austin, South Congress and Downtown are such a fun combo! They are colorful, lively, and packed with great spots for photos. Jillian’s session is a perfect example of how these two areas can create a really dynamic afternoon.
South Congress
We kicked things off outside the SoCo Hotel, then crossed the street with the skyline in the background. It was the perfect way to start with a mix of Austin charm and city views! From there, we made our way down South Congress and stopped at all the best spots:
- Tecovas
- Perla’s
- The “ILYSM” sign
- Joann’s
- Austin Motel
Each stop brings a totally different vibe, and everything is just a short walk away. After one more street crossing, we wrapped up the SoCo part of the session and headed toward our next location.
Downtown at the Four Seasons
A quick drive brought us to the Four Seasons, where the feel shifted in the best way. The greenery, the clean lines, and the calm atmosphere added a fresh, elegant touch to the day. It was such a great contrast to the bold energy on South Congress!
We finished the session on the dock behind the Four Seasons with the skyline glowing behind Jillian. Such a pretty way to end everything!
